Breyer models have been the 'most asked for' horses since 1950, crafted with unparalleled attention to detail. Each individual model is meticulously prepared and finished by hand, then passed to the painting department for intricate, manual detailing. In total, some 20 artisans work on every single model horse, imbuing each one with the uniqueness of the real-life horse that inspired its creation.

The journey begins with beautiful horse sculptures crafted by leading equine artists, which are then cast into copper and steel molds. Each model is individually created from the original mold, injected with a specialized resin selected by Breyer for its ability to capture the depth of detail, delicate feel and richness of color in their models.

The result is a true equestrian art form - exquisite, hand-made model horses that faithfully capture the essence of their live counterparts.
