Carltonlima Emma - The Queen's Pony

Carltonlima Emma, a Fell Pony born and raised on the Cumbrian fells in England, displays the steadfast demeanor and sure-footedness that define her breed. For over a decade, she served as the trusted mount and companion of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, excelling as a show horse, broodmare, and participant in royal pageants.

In addition to her flowing mane and tail, straight leg feathers, and rich black coat, Carltonlima Emma wears a satiny purple and silver sash bearing her name. After retiring from competition, Emma and the Queen could often be observed hacking on the grounds of Windsor Castle, accompanied by close family and friends.

Following the passing of the Queen, Carltonlima Emma attended her funeral procession. As a poignant tribute to their special partnership, one of the Queen's headscarves, a signature piece of her daily riding apparel, was draped across Emma's saddle.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Carltonlima Emma model will be donated to the Fell Pony Society and Girlguiding. Queen Elizabeth II was a patron of the Fell Pony Society and a steadfast supporter of all things equestrian.
